I love getting new running shoes. It’s sort of like Christmas morning for me (seriously). I especially like when the shoes I want to get have some kickin’ colors. My new Mizuno Wave Rider 16s will arrive today, and I am super excited. My other pair has about 325 miles on them, so I would like to work the new ones into the rotation.
I chose the aqua color combo—they will definitely be the most colorful shoes I have sported in quite a long time. 
I think this weekend may be their inaugural run!
We are headed out on the Polar Express tonight—I can’t wait to see the kids on the train! We will be down on the Cape for the weekend too. There is an annual Christmas Party on Saturday night, and I want to take the boys to see the Village Green decorated for the holidays.
Falmouth has always decorated the Village Green for Christmas, and I used to love walking down at night as a child to see the lights. I can’t wait to continue the tradition with the boys. There will also be some seaside running happening—hopefully with Clarke too!
